Abstract

Dorothy Lyle Ivey (nee Amyot) was born in Cape Town on 13 June 1930. She married Sidney James Ivey (1918-1997), a leading Cape Town calligrapher, and they had two children: Graham, who lives in Basingstoke, England and Janet, who has settled in Hobart, Tasmania.
