Abstract
Quoting from the Editor's introduction in Volume I NO.1, 2004, this is the first commercially published, scholarly journal which specifically addressesthe issuesand concerns of librarians and information specialists in this rapidly growing field. The journal is published quarterly, is international, and the articles are peer-reviewed. Each issue contains research/ review articles on relevant topics to library and information services for distance learning.Downloads
This journal is an open access journal, and the authors (copyright owners) should be properly acknowledged when works are cited. Authors retain publishing rights without any restrictions.
South African Journal of Libraries and Information Science is an Open Access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
